– Breakfast can be a dieter’s best friend, it jumpstarts your metabolism while keeping you from snacking mindlessly and overeating throughout the day. But eating the same thing every morning can leave you feeling bored and unsatisfied over time. You should swap your regular breakfast for a tasty alternative that you’ll enjoy and will help you stay energized until lunch. Eggs or cereal can be replaced with 2 slices of whole grain toast with jelly and peanut butter, this way you’re getting protein and the necessary nutrients and antioxidants while indulging your sweet cravings.

– For your midday snack, nonfat Greek yogurt, a banana, and 8 ounces of water should keep you from munching until lunch.

– For lunch, a chicken salad and a powered up smoothie, which is made up of 1 cup of coconut water, half a cup of carrot juice, half a cup of blueberries, 1 frozen banana, and 2 teaspoons of flaxseed oil would be a healthy meal since the powered up smoothie serves up 3 servings of fruit.

– For an afternoon snack, cottage cheese with any fruit and the 8 ounces of water should get you through until dinner.

– Ideally, before 7pm, any meal containing plenty of steamed vegetables can be accompanied by either fish or chicken since it is not recommended to eat red meat before bed due to it’s lengthy digestive process.
